in da burbz

It was my babygirl`s graduation celebration and what type of friend would I be if I didn`t show up and show out for her? I was asked to be sexy, so this is my attempt! Lol. My friend, Jasmine, had a beautiful dinner at Negril Village in NYC and it was nothing less than amazing. We ate, had drinks and danced... despite all of the hiccups that occurred throughout the night. There`s really nothing like having ratchet nights with friends and then trying to get as much sleep as possible because you work the morning shift the next day. Gotta love it.

For this night out on the town, I donned a red & black kilt skirt that I had been obsessing over for the past few weeks. However, it was not my size and it was the only one, so I briefly forgot about it. Then, I go on break and see that there`s now two on the rack... and what do you know? One is my size. It was also an additional 40% off the sale price, so you know what happened next. It was meant to be.

And... as much as I am so over the off-the-shoulder trend, I wore my oversized top off the shoulder. Lmao. I`m not going to refer to it as off-the-shoulder for the sake of my hatred for the trend; I`m going to call this over-the-boobs ☺ I also found a dupe to these Charles David heels and they were like $100 cheaper, so I was super happy about that. It really elevated the look`s sex appeal.

I accessorized with a simple gold choker, my favorite neon clutch and my leather jacket.
